Your files

Most PDF Forge tools process your files entirely in your browser. When a tool is marked "local processing," your file is never uploaded to a server — it stays on your device.

When an operation requires server-side processing, your file is transmitted securely, processed temporarily to produce the result, and then deleted. We do not retain your documents after the operation completes.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account to use free tools.
• We don't sell or share your documents.
• We don't train models on your files.
• We don't store files beyond what is needed to complete an operation.

Payments

Premium operations are one-time payments processed by our payment provider. We receive a transaction confirmation but do not store your full card details.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are used, so we can improve them. This does not include the content of your documents.
