How to compress a PDF for email
Get a PDF under common email size limits (10 MB, 5 MB, 1 MB).
Open Compress PDFKnow your limit
Most email providers cap attachments around 25 MB, but many workplaces enforce 10 MB or lower.
Use Email quality
In the Compress tool, choose 'Email quality' for the smallest output. Check the estimated size before processing.
Still too large?
Remove unneeded pages first, then compress again. Splitting the file is a last resort.
